About
This class features a sequence of standing poses that sharpen your sense of balance and spatial awareness. It focuses on aligning the centre of your body with the centre line of your mat, using this visual reference as a guide to stabilise and organise each pose. You’ll explore how the mat itself can serve as a framework for balance – helping you to locate and maintain your central axis in challenging asanas such as Ardha Chandrasana and Parivrtta Trikonasana. The practice emphasises aligning key regions of the body – the pelvis, shoulders and head – so that balance arises naturally from the centre. The sequence also includes a preparatory Sirsasana variation and concludes with Viparita Karani and a quiet, breath-focused Savasana to restore equilibrium.
