Focus: Yoga for all over body strength. This class will help you to build strength in each of your main muscle groups. The class begins with some preparatory inversions that help to build upper body strength. Standing poses such as utkatasana are included for strengthening leg muscles. A series of chaturanga dandasana variations help to develop the wrists, arms and chest muscles. The class also features abdominal strengthening poses such as paripurna navasana. In addition to improving muscle tone this sequence will help to improve bone strength and correct poor postural habits.
