Ardha Chandrasana – Weekly Intermediate Class 178

Focus: This class features a workshop-style tutorial on the standing pose ardha chandrasana. The class explores the sequence of movements that begins with trikonasana before progressing to ardha chandrasana and then returning back to trikonasana. This is a very common way of practicing ardha chandrasana within a standing pose sequence. The class breaks this chain of movements down into clearly defined stages that can be practiced both as individual parts in isolation, but also in context with the sequence as a whole  Some of the more commonly challenging stages are highlighted and explored in detail from different perspectives.

    I appreciate very much your very clear instructions for coming back from Ardha Chandrasana to Trikonasana. In group class the teacher says: “come back to Trikonasana”! Result: everybody looses balance and Trikonasana doesn’t look like Trikonasana any more. Great tutorial. Thank you! 😄
