Focus: Yoga for menstruation. This calming class includes poses that help to relieve tightness and heaviness in the abdominal region. Many women in the Iyengar method choose to practice this type of sequence during menstruation. In addition to being beneficial in terms of women’s health the class can be also be freely used by all yoga practitioners as a rejuvenating restorative sequence. The class will also be great for calming your nervous system and reducing stress and anxiety. 

Key Poses: Trikonasana, parsvakonasana, ardha chandrasana, dwi pada viparita dandasana, setu bandha sarvangasana.

Equipment: Mat, chair, bolster, belt, 2 blankets, 2 blocks.
