Focus: This class consists of a hip opening sequence for people with tight hips. Each pose is seen from the perspective of someone who might have restricted mobility in the hip region. Potential problems are anticipated, and a range of solutions are given that will help students find a well balanced and sustainable pose. The class includes poses that help to improve hip mobility, but also includes poses that are commonly problematic for stiff hips. Ways of safely modifying or adapting these poses are explored.
