Focus: This class brings together a sequence of chest opening poses that will help to raise energy and lift your mood. It will help combat feelings of lethargy and depression. The class begins with some chest opening shoulder variations that naturally encourage a deeper and more energetic inhalation. The poses that follow are linked together to form a dynamic sequence. Standing poses are adapted so as to maximise their potential to lift and open the upper part of your chest. Eventually the poses halasana and paschimottanasana are combined in a dynamic back and forth rolling action that cuts through stiffness and brings a feeling of lightness to the whole body.
