Focus: Yoga to lift your mood. Standing poses are fantastic for being able to shake off dullness and shift your mood. Their natural tendency is to open your chest and circulate energy. This sequence emphasises the urdhva hastasana action of raising your arms whilst dynamically working through each asana. This focus helps to maximise chest opening and heighten the ability to energise. This effect can be further enhanced by synchronising your breath movement with the action of raising your arms and entering each pose. Practicing in this way can leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
