Focus: Yoga to lift your mood. This class features an energising sequence of standing poses. It emphasises dynamic movement, chest opening and breath awareness. Standing poses are fantastic for being able to shake off dullness and shift your mood. Their natural tendency is to open your chest and circulate energy. To heighten this effect the urdhva hastasana action of raising your arms is repeated throughout the class and linked with the movements of your breath. Practicing in this way can leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised. The class can be practiced with a bare minimum of yoga props.
