For many people they target problematic muscle groups and joints that are lacking in mobility. If practiced incorrectly, forward bends in particular can place strain on your spine and exacerbate existing symptoms of back discomfort. This class guides you through essential fundamentals and basic principals of these pose groups. Care is taken to emphasise points that will improve the health of your spine. It gives you a solid foundation from which you can confidently and safely practice poses such as paschimottanasana and bharadvajasana. These poses, as well as a variety of other key asanas are taught in a methodical progression that will help to establish a strong base, then naturally evolve towards more advanced asanas over time.
