Focus: This class features a grounding, back to basics sequence of standing poses. It covers eight key asanas from the standing pose group. Fundamental principles and classical alignment are emphasised throughout the class. It will be ideally suited to people who are new to the intermediate level and looking to deepen their understanding of standing poses. It will also be beneficial for more experienced students who are looking for a concise, simple and easy to practice sequence to help maintain their home practice momentum. Standing poses help to strengthen and improve mobility in all of the main leg muscle groups. In addition to strengthening the outer body they can also foster inner qualities of confidence, stability and balance.
