This class explores the essential foundations of seated poses using just a belt and two blocks. It streamlines the more elaborate prop arrangements often needed for tight hamstrings or a stiff lower back into a simple, accessible session with the bare minimum of support. The versatility of blocks is shown with clear purposes: in Adho Mukha Virasana and Adho Mukha Svanasana they help anchor the hips or heels; in standing forward bends such as Uttanasana and Parsvottanasana they ease hamstring intensity; in preparations for Sirsasana they support the shoulders and thoracic spine; and in key seated poses – including Paschimottanasana, Trianga Mukha Eka Pada Paschimottanasana, and Upavistha Konasana – they protect the lower back.
