About
This short class presents a simple, flowing sequence that combines hip-opening poses with gentle abdominal strengthening, linked together through repeated transitions to and from Downward Facing Dog. The practice is intentionally straightforward, relying on minimal equipment and light technical instruction, making it easy to follow and easy to return to when rebuilding consistency in your practice. The sequence includes variations of Urdhva Prasarita Padasana, Paripurna Navasana, and a dynamic movement flowing between Paschimottanasana and Halasana. These actions help to awaken the centre of the body, encourage freedom in the hips, and create a feeling of lightness and clarity. The class is particularly well suited to restarting momentum after a break and makes an ideal, energising practice at the beginning of the New Year.
