This class focusses on adho mukha vrksasana (handstand) and pincha mayurasana (forearm balance). In addition to the complete classical poses, preparatory positions are also included that will help to strengthen your body and refine your technique. A method for kicking up into a handstand with your feet together in a “bunny hop” action is also explored. Whether you are experienced or newer to these poses, this class gives you an opportunity to delve deeper into these fundamental inversions.
