Focus: This class features a sequence based around urdhva prasarita eka padasana. It includes standing forward bends and preparatory variations that are directly related to this pose. In addition to being a great pose to focus on in isolation, it is also a great pose to practice prior to a session of forward bends. It can bring elasticity to your leg muscles and spine and shares common techniques with both the standing and forward bending asana groups.
