Focus: Sirsasana free balance. This class explores the key inversion sirsasana (headstand). It develops and expands upon some of the preliminary ideas from the accompanying Intermediate Class 211. It is intended for students who have already consolidated the foundations of headstand and are interested in working towards being able to free balance in the pose without the assistance of a wall. It also includes some commonly practiced leg variations that can be incorporated into your everyday sirsasana routine. The class culminates with an introductory look at the three point headbance, sirsasana II.
