This class includes a comprehensive selection of standing poses within a 45 minute duration practice. Most of the asanas from the standing pose group are featured. Emphasis is given to classical alignment and fundamental techniques. Standing poses can be used in conjunction with most of the other asana groups. They can prepare your body for a session of backbends; isolate actions that lead towards forward bends and twists; feature in therapeutic sequences; or adapt to energy preserving restorative sequences.
