Yoga poses with wall support. This class explores ways of using a wall to achieve a variety of outcomes in your yoga practice. A wall is a readily available yoga prop for most home yoga practitioners. It is also extremely versatile in how it can be used. A wall is commonly used as a therapeutic support to help preserve energy when necessary. It can also provide stability at times when you are struggling with balance. In addition to this, a wall can also be used for more energetic purposes. It can help to provide a concrete reference point for the elusive vertical plane that informs our asana alignment. It can potentially give a corrective adjustment to regions of the body that deviate from this alignment. It can also act as an unyielding structure for you to press against in order to gain leverage into regions of the body that may otherwise be hard to reach or feel.
