This energy boosting class features intermediate level backbends, offering a blend of foundational reinforcement and deeper exploration. You’ll work on building strength, improving posture, and lifting energy levels with essential poses like Salabhasana, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, Ustrasana and Viparita Dandasana. Precise alignment and technique are emphasised in each pose. The sequence progresses towards supported backbends using a chair, enhancing upper back mobility. It features a methodical sequencing of chair backbends, working initially with accessible, entry level chest opening and culminating with more challenging backbend variations. To finish, you’ll transition into gentle back-releasing postures, leaving you feeling both refreshed and restored.
