Focus: Explore links between upright seated poses, forward bends and twists. This class continues our recent series of extended classes where we explore the transition between the beginner and intermediate levels. Although created with newer students in mind, this practice will be deceptively challenging for more experienced students as well. It presents key seated poses, forward bends and twists in a way that both consolidates basic concepts and encourages ongoing exploration. Common actions that are shared between these separate asana groups are explored and developed. This type of class will help to safely bridge the gap between the beginner and intermediate levels. It will also be an ideal class to return to as your experience grows.
