Chair shoulderstand is a commonly practiced variation of sarvangasana. This supported pose has numerous applications. It can be a useful alternative for sarvangasana if you are practicing with ailments such as a sore neck or wrists. It can also be effective if you are feeling low in energy, or recovering from illness. This 20 minute tutorial style class includes several variations of chair sarvangasana. It covers the necessary set-up of yoga props and explains how to adjust the supports according to your height. The class can be practiced as a stand alone video or can be incorporated as an adjunct to other classes from the video library.
