It will target muscle groups associated with your core, arms, shoulders, chest, abdominals back and legs. In addition to toning muscles this type of yoga practice can also help to improve bone density, correct poor postural habits and boost energy levels. This type of practice can be simultaneously fun and demanding. With commonly challenging asanas such as chaturanga dandasana some preparatory variations have been included in addition to the full pose. These variations can be used as a more accessible, but still strengthening alternative if needed.
