About
This focused class explores the relationship between the hip flexors, quadriceps, and hamstrings through a carefully structured sequence that makes advanced poses both accessible and effective. Building on the foundations established in the previous Virabhadrasana classes, the practice develops progressively towards preparations for Eka Pada Rajakapotasana II and Hanumanasana. A range of methodical variations, supported by blocks, bolsters, and eventually the wall, allow students with different levels of flexibility and experience to work safely and appropriately while receiving the therapeutic benefits of the poses. Particular attention is given to releasing tight hip flexors and quadriceps, improving hamstring length, and developing the stability and alignment required for deeper back leg extension. As the sequence unfolds, these elements are integrated into supported Hanumanasana variations that create length through the entire front and back body. The class offers experienced practitioners opportunities to deepen their practice while remaining inclusive and approachable for those who are still developing mobility, confidence, and familiarity with these more advanced asanas.
