Yoga for your upper back, neck and shoulders. Backbends can be used in a wide variety of ways to achieve different effects and benefits. This class applies a more therapeutic slant on the backbend asana group to benefit your upper back, neck and shoulders. Key poses such as salabhasana, ustrasana and  urdhva dhanurasana are all adapted in ways that emphasise their ability to create space in these regions of your body. This type of practice will be an ideal antidote to the slouching and poor postural habits that can result from prolonged periods spent sitting at a desk or in front of a computer. It will help to unlock stiffness, soothe aches and pains, and relieve stress levels.
