Join To Start Course

Focus

Yoga to strengthen your glutes. The upcoming class features a curated sequence of poses that will help to improve gluteal strength. The gluteals are a group of three muscles located in the buttock region. Maintaining strong gluteals can add stability to your whole body and improve your ability to stand in upright positions. It can also help to stabilise your thigh bones and thus prevent knee strain in a variety of yoga poses. Weak gluteals can limit hip mobility and contribute to poor posture and lower back pain. Yoga is widely known to improve muscle mobility and overall flexibility but it also helps to cultivate strength.

Key Poses

Virabhadrasana III, urdhva prasarita ekapadasana, salabhasana, purvottanasana, chatushpadasana.
