This class features poses that help to improve gluteal strength. The gluteals are a group of three muscles located in the buttock region. Maintaining strong gluteals can help to stabilise your thigh bones and prevent knee strain in a variety of yoga poses. Weak gluteals can limit hip mobility and contribute to poor posture and lower back pain. Yoga is widely known to improve muscle mobility and overall flexibility but it also helps to cultivate strength. This class brings together a variety of strengthening poses that target your gluteals.
