This 60 minute video explores restorative yoga poses and pranayama. The class includes classic restorative poses such as supta baddha konasana, viparita karani and setu bandha sarvangasana. These poses help to relax your body, open your chest and create a smooth and even breath rhythm. This helps to prepare you for the pranayama that follows. Exploring breath awareness whilst in these asanas can highlight important but potentially subtle aspects of pranayama and make them more accessible. Ujjayi inhalation and exhalation are then practiced from both reclining and seated positions. Savasana is also featured predominantly in the class.
