This energising class features an easy-to-practice sequence of standing poses. It can be completed with a bare minimum of yoga props and does not require access to a wall. The class explores standing poses from a back-to-basics perspective. It emphasises fundamental principles and classical alignment. Nine key asanas from the standing pose group are included. It will be great for deepening your basic understanding of standing poses. It will also be beneficial for more experienced students who are looking for a concise, simple and easy to practice sequence to help maintain their home practice momentum. Standing poses help to energise, strengthen and mobilise. In addition to strengthening the outer body they can also foster inner qualities of confidence, stability and balance.
