About
This back-to-basics class is designed to help you restart or reboot your practice after a pause, or any time you need a steady momentum boost. It revisits essential standing poses and foundational techniques in a way that is accessible for newer students, while still offering depth and challenge for more experienced practitioners. Standing poses are particularly well suited to returning to practice – they help to open areas of the body that may have become contracted, encourage the circulation of energy, and gradually release stiffness in the joints and muscles. The sequence is clear, grounding, and purposeful, creating a strong sense of re-engagement without being overwhelming. The class can be practiced with just a couple of yoga blocks, fits comfortably into a 35-minute session, and includes key poses such as tadasana, trikonasana, virabhadrasana II, parsvakonasana, parsvottanasana, prasarita padottanasana, and savasana.
