Prioritise your health and wellbeing as you are guided through a range of complementary restorative yoga sequences that will soothe your nervous system. These lessons focus on supporting you so that you can learn to relax and let go of tension in your body and your mind. With regular practice, restorative yoga can be a powerful tool for reducing stress. It also helps you to rebalance during times when you are feeling lower in energy and needing to rejuvenate. The 10 classes in this course focus on key areas of restorative yoga at the advanced level. This includes pranayama in both reclining and seated positions.

Who is this course for?

  • Individuals suffering from stress, muscle tension, anxiety, illness or low energy levels
  • Those looking to deepen their understanding of this relaxing and restoring aspect of Iyengar yoga
  • Those wanting to deepen their understanding of Pranayama
  • Anyone wanting to focus on self-care and finding balance in life
  • This is an advanced course. To practice at this level, in general, at least two years of Iyengar yoga experience is recommended.

How will this course help?

Restorative yoga is stress relieving. This course will help you to slow down – bringing stillness and clarity to your mind, whilst soothing and calming your nervous system. Some of the classes can be used before bedtime to assist with sleep. Others will be well suited to early morning practice.
