This 45-minute class presents a streamlined sequence of foundational standing poses using only two blocks, a blanket, and the support of a wall. Featuring key asanas including Trikonasana, Virabhadrasana II, Parsvakonasana, Ardha Chandrasana, Parsvottanasana, Parivrtta Trikonasana, and Prasarita Padottanasana, the class offers clear, classical instruction with an emphasis on alignment, stability, strength, and precision. Designed for times when access to yoga equipment is limited, this practice demonstrates how a small number of props can effectively support a complete and rewarding standing pose sequence. The class helps consolidate essential techniques, develop strength and endurance, and improve balance and spatial awareness through the standing pose group. Upper-body strengthening headstand preparations are included to build confidence and stability, before the class concludes with a restorative legs-up-the-wall variation and a relaxing Savasana, leaving you feeling refreshed and grounded.
