About
This energising class features a vinyasa-style Iyengar Yoga sequence that combines dynamic movement with precision and purpose. Flowing transitions – especially the repeated stepping action between Adho Mukha Svanasana and Uttanasana – form the rhythmic foundation of the practice. Within this structure, the class explores hip- and gluteal-opening poses such as Sukhasana, Gomukhasana, and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, repeated with shorter hold times to help warm and mobilise stiff areas. The flowing nature of the sequence allows the hips to gradually release tension while also engaging the core through poses like Urdhva Prasarita Padasana and dynamic transitions between Halasana and Paschimottanasana. These movements generate momentum and lift, helping the body to move with greater ease and fluidity. Beyond its physical effects, the class offers a mental refresh – clearing heaviness and lifting energy levels, making it ideal for shaking off sluggishness and reigniting vitality.
