Yoga for lower back pain. This class explores some of the ways in which Iyengar yoga can help to improve the health of your spine. It also highlights how yoga can be used as a preventative measure against common problems associated with the spine. Regular yoga practice can help to prevent the pain and stiffness that is often seen as an unavoidable aspect of ageing. The class will demonstrate unique ways in which you can use Iyengar yoga to improve spinal balance, mobility and strength. Be guided in safely modifying poses that can be difficult to attempt if you have lower back problems. Develop a range of therapeutic poses that can be used to help relieve lower back aches and pains.
